My Go-To Cookbooks

September 16, 2020

I love pulling all of my favourite cookbooks out on a Sunday afternoon and flipping through them to get inspiration for meals throughout the upcoming week. I also equally love opening up one of said cookbooks on a weekday evening to follow one of said inspiring recipes. While the internet certainly provides an endless number of virtually free recipes, there’s something I find cathartic about flipping through an actual cookbook. Oh, and the thrill of getting your hands on a new cookbook. Magic. I know I’m not the only one who loves a good cookbook (hello most sought after and fought over gift at white elephant gift exchange) and so I thought I’d share my favourite cookbooks, along with some of my favourite recipes within them.

I should also note that I am gluten-free and dairy-free (though I do stray from time to time) and so these cookbooks have great recipes for those who are as well (or not, too!)
